In recognition of the need to address progressively crowding conditions within the Ogden City Police & Fire Public Safety Center, a facility needs assessment was conducted to determine expansion or relocation options. The assessment provided:
- Existing Site Observations: Review of current 911 Operations and facility needs assessment, identifying current facility needs/deficiencies.
- Facility Programming defining programmatic needs and potential expanded capabilities for the agency through 2028.
- Preliminary Operational & Technical Needs Assessment.
- Site Evaluations of potential candidate sites including expansion on the current Ogden Public Safety Center site and preparation of comparative site analysis inclusive of preliminary threat & vulnerability analysis.
- Conceptual Planning Diagrams testing the programmatic needs and suitability of alternative sites to meet the District’s needs.
- Options Cost Analysis for the respective sites including facility construction estimates, technology cost estimates, probable logistical costs associated with each site, and soft cost projections.
