A founder and partner of Jacobs/Wyper, Architects since 1981, Mr. Wyper has over thirty years of experience providing architectural, planning and interior design services. He is Managing Principal of the firm and the principal in charge of corporate and institutional planning and design services.Reflecting the firm’s ability to provide services for a significant diversity of projects, Mr. Wyper has successfully applied his design skills, problem solving and management experience to numerous projects for which he has been responsible. - University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA: Design for the expansion of the School of Medicine’s Cyclotron Facility, including a new particle accelerator and four new GMP labs for radioactive drug synthesis.
- Quest Diagnostics, Inc., West Norriton, Pennsylvania: Primary data facility and technical command center for the largest clinical lab company in the world. An $18 million, 40,000 sf project.
- Quest Diagnostics, Inc., Teterborough, NJ: Master facilities integration plan for following merger with SmithKline Beecham Clinical Labs involving consolidation of 600,000 sf in nine buildings in two states.
- Hillel Center for Jewish Life, University of Pennsylvania Design for a new 36,000 sf Jewish student center containing the University’s primary kosher dining facility, and academic, religious, and social facilities.
- Klehr Center for Jewish Life, Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, Pennsylvania: A new 6,400 sf student center for Jewish life including kosher kitchen, seminar rooms, and social and religious spaces.
- Amtrak, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: The design of two new buildings: A 115,000 sf material control facility for Amtrak’s high-speed engine maintenance facility and a 27,000 engineering building.
- Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Design for Biology Life Science Building Renovation with 12 new BSL.2 and BSL.3 labs in 20,000 sf floor.
- West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Family Memorial: An above ground pavilion for reflection and contemplation over a family burial plot.
